Albert watch chains are named after Prince Albert (1819-1861) husband to Queen Victoria. This piece is in excellent antique condition and features two hand enameled slides (enameled on both sides). Lovely robins egg blue background with flowers. Each slide measures 11/16" length. There is a double sided enameled tassel measuring 1.5" in length from bale to bottom. There is also a watch key, engraved slide and dog clip marked sterling. Two type of chains.
Overall it measures 20" in length and can easily be worn as a necklace. Can be altered into different styles. The tassel could be added to a larger bale and placed between the two enameled slides. Key could be added to the back. Let your imagine go.
