c1880 Bold Lover's Knot Glass Cabochon Garnet Brooch

Antique gold filled brooch in the shape of a lover's knot. Large bezel set glass garnet measuring approx. 19.3 x 15.4 mm. The brooch measures 1.75 x 1.25" wide. Condition is good-please note there is there are insignificant slight clips to the edge of glass on one end. The clasp where the pin connects to the brooch looks like one side isn't whole-I've worn this a couple of times and never noticed-its pretty strong but I do want to point out.
Simple piece to repurpose into a pendant by wrapping chain around the lover's knot. This also looks great on a fabric choker.
