A solid ring featuring an oval slightly pinkish red ruby (lab made synthetic) measuring approx. 5x7 mm, 1 ctw, with two round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approx. .24 ctw. The diamonds are approx. H color and clean under loupe. 3.7 grams.
A lot of rubies on the marketplace are synthetic. It allows someone the beauty of the gemstone without the high price tag. This ruby test with gemological equipment as a ruby. This is not a cheaper fusion synthetic ruby but most likely a flex grown one as it shows natural ruby like fingerprints. On the finger it looks earth grown.
