A Mid Century 14K White Gold Toi et Moi Family Diamond Ring with Old European Cut Diamond

This custom mid century 14K white gold ring features an old European cut diamond measuring approx. 5.35 mm diameter, approx. .5 ct, near colorless, vs2 clarity. The diamond has chunky facets, smaller table and larger open culet-could date back to 1900. The next diamond is a 3.55 mm diameter round brilliant cut, aprox. .18 ct, slightly yellow, SI-I clarity. Both diamonds are set by four prongs which have been retipped by the jeweler. On each side are four round cut bead set diamonds in a ribbon motif.
Over all the condition is very good. The setting is substantial, prongs reinforced on the larger diamonds and repolished. Please note under magnification there is a surface chip to the upper facet/star facet on the old European cut. One tiny tiny nibble on the girdle too. Nothing unusual for a diamond around 120 years old. On the finger not noticeable and it does not affect the wearability.
