ON HOLD 14K Yellow Gold and Sterling Antique Belle Epoque Old Mine and Rose Cut Diamond Pendant Brooch
An elegant antique Belle Epoque diamond pendant brooch.

The brooch is set with rose cut and old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds in the top range from .75 - 3.88 mm. The two dangles measure approx. 5.4 mm each. The diamonds are bead and bezel set. Please note that these are old cuts and that means they are not completely round and though they are securely set in bezels they don't completely fill the bezel. The dangle on the left is most noticable upon close inspection. Some of the diamonds also show lifted crystals (this happens during the polishing stage) and rough edges. Not unusual but do want to point out to anyone that is not use to typical antique old mine cut diamonds. These diamonds were most likely cut and polished by candle light. The color grade is near colorless to slightly yellow, clarity vs2-I.
The pin stem is 14k and the front is sterling. C-clasp. Two loops on back to add chain to wear as a necklace.
2 1/8" length 1 1/8" wide.

Condition is typical and good for its age. Wearable and ready for another 120 years.
