c1890 Antique Victorian Gold Filled Bracelet with Carnelian Tassie Intaglio of Soldier

$220.00

c1890

Antique oval bracelet dating to the late Victorian period. The bracelet is gold filled with a slight rose hue. It is a puffy style braid with hidden box clasp. There is a carnelian tassie intaglio of a soldier dangling freely. Inside the bracelet is engraved MW. The bracelet should fit up to a 6.25" wrist. 7/16" wide. The tassie hangs 7/8" and is 3/4" wide.

For a piece 135 years old it is in very good condition. Please note there are a few tiny dents. Visit my etsy shop to see a video. I didn't try to clean this just a quick wipe down so there is darkening in the crevices which give it that antique look. Clasp clicks tight and stays shut. The hinge is tight.

Rare to find these in such condition.
