Victorian 1880's Gold Filled Book Chain Cameo Necklace

c1880 Antique gold filled bookchain necklace dating to the Victorian era featuring a cameo of a lady in profile hand carved from banded agate. The clasp is hidden behind the cameo. A great example in very good condition. The bookchain measures 5/16" wide and folds over mimic the look of a book. There are three stars stamped in the links. The cameo on engraved plaque measures approx. 2 1/8" x 3/4". The two dangles with tassels measure 1 1/4" in length. 18" length around the neck.
