Victorian 1880's Gold Filled Book Chain Cameo Necklace

c1880 Antique gold filled bookchain necklace dating to the Victorian era featuring a cameo of a lady in profile hand carved from banded agate. The clasp is hidden behind the cameo. A great example in very good condition. The bookchain measures 2/8" wide and folds over mimic the look of a book. The cameo on engraved plaque measures approx. 7/8 x 3/4".
