English Antique Bi Color Gold Swallow Arrow Conversion Necklace

Love, Love, LOVE! This piece began as a Victorian brooch which our jeweler transformed into a one of a kind necklace. The pendant is 8-9k gold (tested by jeweler) featuring an arrow, bi color gold (rose, yellow) swallow with a trail of vine and dangle pearl. Very well rendered. The plume on the arrow end and feathers on the swallow are engraved. There is varying color (rose and yellow) on the swallow. Certainly a piece conveying love. Perhaps the swallow caught cupids arrow and a love match was made. Both the arrow and swallow motifs meant love and protection during the Victorian period. A one of a kind piece. The chain is 14K yellow gold and 18" length. Layaway available.
