Aesthetic period-Victorian era

Unmarked but tested as sterling silver. It polished up beauitful by cloth. The front features two birds perhaps lovebirds or a mother and daughter perched on bamboo like stalks (for good luck). The locket clicks tightly shut and the hinge is tight. Inside there are two frames with two inserts to hold photographs. Sometimes the one on the left wants to pop out if you dont' have it set in a particular manner. The back is a smooth polish.

Condition is very good-I tried to show you all angles and highlight any tiny tiny marks--but it was loved so no deep dents. My photographs are showing a lot of relection. Large bale will accomodate wide chains.
