Unmarked but tested as 18K yellow and white gold. Late edwardian ring set with a synethic rectangle cut ruby measuring approx. 4.88 x 2.81 mm bezel set with a saw tooth edge. The surrouding natural diamonds are various cut -old mine cuts, old european cut and a replacement modern cut set in white gold. Clean under magnification and near colorless -H-I. Please note that under magnification I see four older cuts with chips on their crown (they are whole but I did want to point out). Most of my older pieces show some form of wear. The synethic ruby has normal wear noticable under maginification. By eye the facet junctions look crisp. Overall this is a beautiful ring with appropriate signs of being over 100 years old.
The ring is 3/8" wide and currently a size 6.
