Stamped 18K Jabel ring set with natural diamonds.
The center diamond is a beautiful old European cut diamond weighing approx. .65 ct, H-I color, SI clarity. Only under microscope is there a unique horseshoe shaped inclusion on the side of the table-a sign of good luck. The diamond was viewed by a GIA graduate gemologist. Diamond is secured by six prongs. The sunburst has 16 round cut diamonds set by four prongs with a scalloped base mounting, weighing approx. 2 mm each, approx. .03 ct each, .48 ctw, total diamond weight is approx. 1.13 ctw.
Even on a dark day when the photographs were taken this diamond sparkles.
Jabel was founded in 1916 by Jack J. Abelson of Newark, NJ. This company revolutionized die struck jewelry by engineering solid shanks. They also pioneered a white gold alloy using 15% palladium.
Front of the ring measures 5/8" length x 9/16" wide. Back of shank is 1.44 mm wide.
Current size 7.25 but message if you need sizing service.
4.9 grams
Condition is very good-only under microscope did I see a one halo diamond have tiny chip to girdle--not noticeable by eye nor does it affect its stability.
