Jack Gutschneider Jewelry Co. was founded in 1957 in New York by the German/American designer. He worked under the Van Gogh brand for two decades. He began hallmarking his jewelry JG JLRY in the late 1950s.

A dramatic 14K yellow gold tiered ring featuring 10 pear shaped opals, with green/blue/pink/purple play of color. All opals are prong set, in very good condition. The top tier opal measures 7.18 x 5.24 mm. There are 12 brilliant cut diamonds measuring approx. 2.4 mm and smaller diameter-approx. .50 + carats tw.

The ring is 1 1/2" north south and 3/4" east west. Is sits approx. 1/2" up off the finger.

Its an architectural piece -we designed and interesting. It certainly catches the vibe of the 1960's.

The shank is 1/8" wide.

Overall a one of a kind, designer piece in excellent preowned condition. The ring was check by jewelry and professionally polished.
