1960's Angel Skin Coral 14K Yellow Gold Cocktail Ring

c1960 Bold oval angel skin coral cocktail ring. The ring is marked and tested as 14K. A beautiful oval angel skin coral is set with six prongs and measures approx. 2 x 3/4". Angel skin coral, also known as pelle d'angelo in Italian, is a rare, light pink coral that can be found in the waters around Japan, Taiwan, and Hawaii. This particular piece is a light whitish pink. The setting features a twisted rope gallery with scalloped edge frame, ball motifs on the shoulders. Sits off the finger approx. 5/8". Very good condition.
