1950's Beyond the Sea Necklace & Earring Set

Always delighted by the whimsical pieces that came out of the 1950's. This makes me hear Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin or perhaps Dirty Dancing. The world certainly seemed a quieter calmer place. You would look forward to the dance and figured out your dress and jewelry. These would have been a hit at a themed under the sea style dance. The white shells are plastic but the blue flowers are actual painted shells. There is also aura borealis stones. Earrings measure 1" and are screw backs. 16" length. Condition is amazing-some evidence of age but overall really good.
